It's been awhile!
Wow, it's been awhile since I've updated anything! Basically, to sum up the last 5-ish months, we are so far so good! I am going to be 7 months pregnant a week from now! I can't believe it. After a couple ultrasounds, and numerous doctor visits, our baby boy is doing good and baking away in my belly. I was full of major anxiety just until a month ago just from the past and being nervous about everything in general with the baby's health, but now that he is finally kicking more and on a daily basis, I can relax a lil. And I know this is a major relief to Michael, because he has gotten pretty overwhelmed with constantly reassuring me and worrying with me.
So YES, the baby is a boy! His first and middle name will be Christopher Rodney. He is being named Christopher after hubby's grandad, and Rodney after my dad. I wasn't very surprised that the baby was a HE, I almost expected it for some odd reason! I did have a girl name picked out, "Amaya Ranae," but I am happy with Chris Rod, so we will have our lil girl later on in life. That day at the ultrasound was the greatest, it was the first one my hubby got to go to with me and he was so excited that it just made my week!
My mom and dad came to visit on April 20th for a week and that was a really nice visit, as we hadn't seen them for a year! We had a 3d/4d ultrasound done when they came and Chris Rod had his arm in front of his face 99% of the time. He showed off his leg and stretched it up to his head with his hand, and then scratched his head with his foot! lol Also, I think he had it near his nose too, and almost looked like he was smelling it...lol It was so nice to see him and we actually have another one coming up when I'm 30 wks so I will post pics then of those!
All in all, the pregnancy has been up and down for me. My belly is starting to really grow now and I am so uncomfortable. It is hotter than heck here now and the humidity is stupid! It's hard for me to sleep and I am so tired, which is the dumbest collabo (yep, made this word up too), if you ask me. Michael's been doing good, he hates his job, and we're praying he finds a better one that deserves him! We both hate Augusta with a passion because the jobs here are horrible and a lot of the people are very narrow minded and just plain crazy. So we plan to move to either Kansas City or Atlanta by the end of next year. I am just ready for us to settle down in a place so we can buy a house and just get things together. And then maybe try for a 2ND child in about 3 years from now-ish.
Well, I think that's the updating I have for now, but of course I will prob think of something else later...lol
